I was really pleased to come across this post on the Diversity Woman website, because Katherine Giscombe writes so beautifully and succinctly about what leaders need to do to truly make a difference in inclusion efforts, in particular for women of color.
To make a real difference, we need leaders who will directly challenge both policy and behavior that marginalize people. As Katherine says, “Women of color need champions who are familiar with the obstacles they face at workâand are willing to take the risks necessary to overturn them.”
